Some people don't like the idea that spheres of human interaction are somehow inferior to raw sense experience. I don't claim that. I just find that the 'aesthetic imperative' of sensory clarity has made life seem much more worth sticking around for. That's non-trivial, and cool.

It also makes the various shit-storms much more tolerable, even enjoyable. The way you manifest in those social-contexts may not be what you/others think of as optimal - the hyper-efficient productivity of the worldly übermensch - but creative responses may surprise you/others.
