Every vote matters! I’m glad that this prevailed. It should not have been this close, but we must listen to the opponents, hear each other and build bridges, not hate. I’m so thrilled at today’s news!!

I do not feel this awesome technique from for calculating ambient occlusion based on surrounding polygon-based "portals" has gotten the attention it deserves. Even comes with code \o/

Yesterday I had the pleasure of flipping the public switch on the 'The Heretic: Digital Human' releases on GitHub. Since joining the Unity Demo Team, I've been working on the face of Gawain, and it's nice to be able to make that work public. :)

I think this is the first SIGGRAPH in two decades where I'm not there in person. Not that this is the strangest (or the hardest) thing in this bizarre, unusual year, but just reflecting on how much this conference has anchored the year, and how odd it is not being there in person

The original (first part) of the Heretic has been out for a bit - but the team was able to finish the stunning 2nd part - just released. Highly recommend checking this out, tremendous visual work and a gripping story to boot. I love the FX here
