I still don’t really understand. If LP found out in June, and launched their own investigation, removing him by August, how am I to presume that they covered it up?

They didn't remove him. He had a heart attack. They found out in June and then did nothing.

Just want to make a tiny correction. The Lincoln Project DID NOT DEFEAT Trump, the voting people did. LP created videos which was seen predominantly by liberals, they were ignored by Trump, not one mention of them from Trump which to me shows they didn't affect him.
