Interesting topic. In my experience the dream job can be more stressful at times than other jobs because I care so much more when things go wrong/don't work out. In my experience people assume you have to be miserable doing it for it to be a job. If it's not soul-crushing then it's "not a real job." Dunno if that's jealousy or it's really that ingrained in people's mentality.

Then why isn't food services a "real job"? (rhetorical question) I've worked a variety of blue, white, and service jobs, and *nothing* was a soul crushing as front line fast food service.
