So the Tomb Raider movie is a fun action romp. Alicia Vikander is great as Lara & the action scenes are cool. Takes some awkward story turns midway but pulls it back by the end. One of the better videogame movies :)
The two gun scene is literally the final shot. Not sure why they had to put it in the trailer

Wait, no. I get it. It’s a twofold problem. 1. They want to attract the earlier movie crowd despite it being VERY different. 2. It’s a video game movie so they don’t think it’s worth the effort of making trailers representative of the actual product. They just don’t care.

Does that seem about right? For example, the trailers acting like her dad sent her on a mission to close a tomb to save the world, and that aforementioned gun scene. They just took the most exciting pieces from the climax or something and didn’t care about the product itself.
