Funny thing is, if I were to rush-finish every half baked song idea & release it, my Youtube channel would probably get more views due to the way the 'MORE CONTENT, FASTER!' algorithm works. But I feel like shit every time I feel I've released a sub-par song, so nah

But at the same time it might make all the difference in someone else’s life. Trent Reznor said The Fragile had no effort put in and was just for the record company, yet it formed my teenage years and I still view it as potentially my favorite NIN album.

Correction: “That’s why there aren’t a lot of lyrics on that record. I couldn’t fucking think. An unimaginable amount of effort went into that record in a very unfocused way.” So he tried but said “deal with it” on the final product.

I can kinda relate, oftentimes music is MUCh easier to come up with than lyrics. The music fits you mood and maybe doesn't even need a lyirc sot enhance
