What YouTube chooses to recommend to people makes it VERY hard to justify putting extra effort in to anything. This frustrates me as a creator to no end. Honestly I see absolutely no difference in views no matter how much time/effort was put in to making a video.

It would be much easier to churn out songs with premade beats, me singing everything regardless of female POV, rough mixes, parodies, remixes ect. There's nothing wrong with that, but all those are equal in YT's eyes. The extra effort to make a pro song from scratch means nothing

True. The latter does tend to cultivate a more dedicated & passionate audience for your work as its own entity as opposed to its relation to the topics it's about. Still, that's no help when no one is seeing it because youtube won't share it
