I'm finally playing it and I totally agree. There's no... chores? Like, ever? Normally AC games are full of chores.

Open all the chests. Find all the flags. Can get tiring. AC:O tying it all to locations was genius.

I'm still kind of torn on the progression system. I wasn't crazy about essentially level locking areas. But overall it wasn't bad.

I wouldn’t have played it if someone hadn’t gotten it for me, though I was tempted by Egypt being pretty. Within an hour o was super impressed by its systems, freedom, etc. If BotW hadn’t come out it would’ve been the most impressive open world in ages for me.

Perfect balance. I think that sums up the game beyond what you share here too. Great pacing gameplay wise, map design wise, mission wise and on and on

Totally agree, just the right amount of stuff to do at just the right times. Such a brilliant game!

I loved all the gameplay of Origins. I think everyone's got to go and ride around in the dessert for way too long and hallucinate. My only issue with it is the ending segments and story. It had act 3 problems for me personally
