It's a pity The Last Guardian's mechanics (understandably) turned so many people off it, because the final hour of that game is one of the most gripping, heart wrenching, emotionally affecting sequences ever put on a screen. IMO it made the struggle worth it.pic.twitter.com/0ondBEEniD

In short, if you struggled with Last Guardian give it another try when you have time to spare. The final few hours are a worthy emotional payoff and almost (though not 100%) justify why Trico is so frustrating to guide around

Something I've noticed with Team Ico games is that their first, second, and third acts are pretty much the beginning, a scene in the middle, and the ending. Everything else is gameplay that doesn't really do anything about story or context or anything.
-
As much as I liked 'Ico' and 'Shadow of the Colossus', the games feel pretty barren as far as story goes and they get a bit dry with no contextual nourishment with long stretches of gameplay broken up by VERY occasional story scenes, like the bit on the bridge.

Wouldnt mind seeing someone try to make a movie out of it, just put the main points in it, the characters saving each other, they could even make it one of those movies where there is only like, 10 words said troughout it, and some of those are repeats. It could be done and work.
