Biggest difference between our politics & yours in the US is that over here everyone is pretty skeptical of all politicians, regardless of how they lean. Probably easier to be this way as there isn't the same kind of extreme binary divide in beliefs here.

Also, the idea of idolizing politicians is alien to us, including the ones on 'our' side. Our news is very matter of fact, just 'This is what happened today', they don't really give opinions on it like Fox or CNN.
