To me it's not buckling. I don't care much about that kind of humor and it's not a hill worth dying on. It's an easy compromise for something i don't feel strongly about. That's what I'm saying, if he's using his own reasoning skills to decide when it is and isn't appropriate, he's not being censored by some 3rd party or himself, he's just making a decision, and basing it on what he's comfortable with joking about publicly.
