One damn good reason. Having used music in my videos I would hunt high and low to make sure the lic was listed and acceptable to use. Then document like mad. Most don't seem to know just how much needs to be done to legally use someone else music.

I agree. The majority of people today (even music folks) seem to not understand copyright law; even more so since the internet gave people unfettered access to digital files. So power to u for protecting your hard work and copyrights.
