Streamer drama going around has me thinking about how much of their personal lives internet entertainers share with the public these days. Not sure how healthy it is for your audience to know every detail of your life

Gav, is this your way of telling us you've secretly been moonlighting as a corporate shill for all those games you do voice acting in? I KNEW IT!!

I understand what you mean. Music is your creative outlet and how you express yourself there for by listening to you, we understand that you love video games.

Plus personal songs too

Agreed, I always thought I'd hate being the focus of fame, but if my creative works could be loved by the masses, that would be amazing. Part of why being an author appeals, but definitely not an actor.

I think it's a lot simpler than that. Some people just like, even thrive on, drama. It is an easy money maker. You can make your personality a product without all the drama. Drama is a choice.

I remember when the cassette inlay photographs for "...And Justice For All" were the only photographs of Metallica I could access. The mystery was a big part of the appeal. A different era, to be sure, but some space between artist/fan is always healthy.

I agree! It's nice to have the work speak for itself

It's still important to set boundaries, which I see a lot of successful streamers do. My guess would be kids born into internet world (where boundaries, and personal health are jokes) find a life, and career in it before fully maturing enough to self-regulate.
