I wonder how many people in Fallout NV actually had enough explosive skill to talk to Easy Pete at the beginning of the game?

I ended up tailoring all my new characters to meet the skill-checks of the Goodsprings defense mission. Even though you can take the invaders down easy with a weapon, the completionist gnaws within me.

That's one of my main gripes with games like Fallout 1&2 and Planescape Torment, they're so easy to cheat!

Thing is. You get a completely different story if you don't, which is why I accept like half of my fails.
