It's also by far the most time consuming part of the creative process (for me at least). takes up about 90% of my work time! Would get it done by a pro, but a decent one can cost up into 4 figures per song, so... yeah. lol

In music where the kick plays the same «rythms» as the guitar, so to speak, a nice high «clicky» kick usually fits well in the mix. Hope that clarified things. (Sorry, I don’t English originally ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
