It's like sometimes you listen to your shit & feel 'Man this is some good shit, I see why people dig this' and then you hear a glaring flaw in it that just ruins it for you, despite the possibility that no no-one else cares about that thing?

Such is creativity I guess, haha. Anyway, creators! Never feel bad for enjoying your own work. Having an amalgamation of all the music I enjoy has always been my #1 reason for making music :)

I have that for every video I make, article I write, or podcast episode I record. It's the creator's curse of making what you want to read/watch/listen to. But it's bloody good stuff you make Gav. Never stop! Unless you want to. And then I'll be sad, but will deal with it.

im like that with stories I write, other people love them, and at the time I like them a lot, but when I go back to them 2-3 months later it's literally "this is all crap, why did I write this dross in the first place"

I agree and disagree, due to youtube comments often our harshest critics are total morons lol

I've had the same thing on writing and carpentry. Your minor imperfections are glaring to you, even if no one else can see them.

Not happening. You'll have to settle for hearing other people's music that way.
