Almost every other developed country has universal healthcare & is horrified by the USA's system. It's built on pure selfishness & greed

Yea, it's super gross. I'm afraid to get medical care because of cost, and Leo is going to take me years to payoff. THANKS KID!

See, the thing I don't get though is that the answer is insurance coverage. I think the system sucks because hospitals can charge $.5 mil.

If a CT scan cost me $100, I'd just pay for it, but it costs $40k, so I have to pay an insurance company and everyone is fucked.

How is 'Get it all free' not an acceptable answer tho? I mean doing it through tax is cheaper than doing it thru insurance companies

It;s bullshit because we pay like 400 a month to have insurance, and I still can't afford actual healthcare when I need it.

It's fine/lucky. I have a family that will help if we're in trouble. I have a healthy son, healthy wife. Whatever. Just a bummer is all.
