2 D and 1 E at A-level. I'm now doing a Msci in Molecular Biology and got a first at Bsc. (In the subject I got an E in, btw).

A levels are important, but they aren't the be all and end all and people shouldn't feel hopeless if they didnt get the results they wanted.

I remember on of my uni IT professors even stating that he didn't really want to have exams because that would not reflect real life anyway

I cannot do exams. I get horribly anxious and blank. My applied diploma though? Distinction-Merit with months off with back issues.
