Plus if you still want your original choice in a few years you can be a mature student. Many other experiences you can have in the meantime!

Oh yeah, totally. I didn't even do A levels (too drunk) but I went to Uni at 23 as a mature age student when I was ready for it.

Exam results don't even necessarily reflect academic ability. I barely passed year 12 but I am doing great at Uni.

Yep totally agree. I failed AS maths twice and ended up with a first in mathematics at uni (part of a larger course) :)

I didn't get the grades I wanted at A-level, but I got in somewhere via clearing and will be starting my PhD in a few weeks.
