How do you feel about indie devs with smaller budgets doing the same thing?

Well I generally don't like it either, but I can appreciate the imperative to generate a bit of money before a dev can create more content.

I understand also that in the world of on-demand streaming and binging, episodic means something different for TV now as well.

Personal experience: My brain tends to shut something off when I'm done - which means episodic content gets relegated in mental priority
