How do you feel about entertainers & artists you follow giving their opinions about politics?

I guess it sorta depends how well thought out their stance is, how often they talk about it, why I follow them in the first place etc.

Disagree with it as a blanket statement, but I guess there's a line where it can overshadow the actual art if it's all someone talks about

Definitely. Finding that balance and the one between 'work' self & personal self on social media, is tricky.

Personally I only get serious if I have a perspective I feel like nobody else is expressing. Otherwise I try to keep it light and fun.

I've definitely found for my own mental well being that keeping serious political posts to an absolute minimum is good lol

Yeah if I get that itch I go on an anonymous forum to blow it off. Easier to walk away after you say your piece if your name isnt attatched

Yeah. And also a lot of hassle can be avoided by not posting while a) emotional or b) drunk lol
