PC repair shop told me it was 'normal' for my i7 cores to be 50 celsius internetting & 90 c while gaming. Um... different repair shop then?
It's pretty much right on top of the RAm and well, it's paert of the motherboard

As temps rise clock speeds may decrease to protect components. But really all that stuff can operate fine at temps sup 220F

If you just want to lower temps you could replace/add fans/heat sinks and review airflow (Assuming you air cool)
