If you replaced the fan with another Intel stock cooler, then it's kind-of designed to self-throttle.

I get the same bug in Speccy, consistently reports +50C. Other programs get it right though, think I'm using CoreTemp atm.

I spotted it last week, said 98°C. Panicked. Replaced heatsink: no diff... Then tried Core Temp. 48C. Felt like an idiot. :)

what are you using to read temps? I'd suggest you use Core Temp, its a free program.
