Here in America, there are a lot of weirdos who seem to think that "freedom of speech" means "freedom to say whatever I want without consequences or criticism", and then throw a fit when they get any kind of backlash for what they say.

Been told on a number of times while auditioning for “Irish” roles that my accent is too Irish. These people are making American or British films about their ideas of Ireland. There is plenty of solid Irish stories, writers and artists actually telling Irish stories
