Of course, this gets very complicated & difficult sometimes -especially these days when creators' personalities are such a huge integral part of their brands. We all get sucked in, it's hard NOT to admire people if they connect with you. But it's something worth thinking about.

It is so unhealthy, especially when they do something bad. Watching people defend them as if this person is someone they have been personal friends for years. "Well I enjoy their music therefore it isn't possible for them to be *insert horrible thing*"

Yeah its somehow really easy to think that creatives, any public persona you attach to really, is human+ somehow instead of being just another human-regular like everyone else

I remember meeting one of my favorite bands at their aftershow as a teenager and the singer blabbed some really dumb, obnoxious opinions at me about my country and our ways... it was a real learning experience, haha. I was still able to enjoy their cracking tunes tho

Depends on the nature of the art or music though. If it is obviously something they have put their soul into then you can't help but connect with and admire that. Every creator is mortal though with all the flaws that brings.

Of course! And I too always admire hard work & passion
