Hey Gav! Do you plan on trying out Hades by SupergiantGames? It’s a Greek mythological roguelike developed by the same people of Bastion. You might have blast playing it. @miracleofsound

This is the exact reason I could never get on with Souls games. I hear you.

in souls you get checkpoints (bonfires) in a game like Hades you literally go to the start again

That’s understandable. It’s like me trying to convince people to play Bloodborne or Hollow Knight. Also thanks for replying to my tweet. Big fan by the way. :D

I'm not usually a fan of that either, but the gameplay in Hades is so intoxicating, not to mention that death pushes the story, conversations, and gameplay forward. You are MEANT to die as opposed to how other roguelikes handle their own games.

Right there with you! Cant stand it! On the greek mythology note though, that Immortals: Phoenix Rising game is looking pretty sweet!

Me normally too, but so far I've enjoyed it. I'm guessing mostly due to the way the story kind of keeps progressing through the restarts.
