Artists will treat music like a competion but it’s not. You don’t have to be on the billboard list to have a huge audience. It’s not about politics/algorithms it’s about the music being good or not. If you think you deserve more u lost Look internally

Definitely need to constantly grow your skill set. The moment you think there’s nothing else to learn, you lost. Although I’m not sure if it’s all about the music either. You can have the best content but if you’re bad at SEO there’s a good chance no one will see it

I kinda agree with ye both, never stop improving. But it's ok and normal to feel a little demoralised when you make something you think is great and it doesn't do as well as you had hoped

To elaborate, always improving is a bare minimum everyone should have habitually internalised - but numerical success and creative success don't always gel
