I just try not to summon people that look like they're crazy over geared. But this game has quite a bit of NPC summons so I usually go with them.

Have fun trying out all the different weapons. Even in the same category weapons can have different attack patterns. Skills on weapons and shields add a lot of variety too.

Yes, the dancer is perfection. Kicked her ass at soul level 34 for access to all the good upgrade materials. I highly recommend this strategy.
