For anyone who follows me on Twitter who is Arachnophobic, are there any games you find have particularly good settings for removing or replacing spider content? I have some examples for a feature, but trying to make sure im not missing any particularly good ones.

For what its worth, gave Obsidian's new game Grounded a look last night, and the arachnophobia mode in that can reduce spiders on a sliding scale down to just two blob hit boxes, which is a nice attempt at a fix. Probably the best attempt I've seen. Hope more devs follow suit.

I cannot remember the game but I remember one where the arachnophobia mode gave all the spiders silly hats. Not the best approach as it still very clearly had spiders, but it was amusing.

Don't you love hearing them move around too?

I know the "rad" stands for "radiation", but I grew up in the 80s and 90s, so "rad" just brings to mind a scorpion wearing a backwards baseball cap, carrying a skateboard, playing hair metal on a walkman, and likely saying "Cowabunga, Dudes!"
