Shouldn't need to say this BTW but my issues with the story have absolutely nothing to do with 'Politics' or LGBT inclusion. In fact Dina & Ellie's endearingly awkward romance is one of the few bright spots for me in the story's deep, dark well of misery, misanthropy & despair.

I think if you have a high tolerance for super dark stories you'll likely enjoy it. But for me, the misery gets piled on so heavy & so constantly that I just stop caring about any of it because what's the point in investing if everything is awful and depressing all the time?

2020 is depressing enough already, man. Maybe it's just a personal thing... the game is objectively good in many areas (especially visuals & sound) but right now I just prefer stories that don't drown my heart in misery. [Goes back to watching New Girl re-runs for happy time]

Yeah this was the point where the story started to lose me. Introduce new character, show them to be a villain, multiple times, then try to force you to like them? It doesn't work for me at all. It's like anti-Joel.

Also to introduce that right at the climax of the story.... it felt like being dragged back from a finishing line in order to tell us how wrong we were to run fast
