Shouldn't need to say this BTW but my issues with the story have absolutely nothing to do with 'Politics' or LGBT inclusion. In fact Dina & Ellie's endearingly awkward romance is one of the few bright spots for me in the story's deep, dark well of misery, misanthropy & despair.

I think if you have a high tolerance for super dark stories you'll likely enjoy it. But for me, the misery gets piled on so heavy & so constantly that I just stop caring about any of it because what's the point in investing if everything is awful and depressing all the time?

2020 is depressing enough already, man. Maybe it's just a personal thing... the game is objectively good in many areas (especially visuals & sound) but right now I just prefer stories that don't drown my heart in misery. [Goes back to watching New Girl re-runs for happy time]

Replying to @miracleofsound
See this This is the core of the issue for I think many people I think. Introduce a villain character and make the game more about them than the existing conflicts the protagonists of the last game still had left hanging in the air

Yeah. I am not mad that [xxxx xxxx], I'm just disappointed that it happened at the hands of a character that feels underdeveloped, patronising & narratively hamfisted
