Blocking is mad therapeutic. Feel a twinge of annoyance, never have to see or hear from a person again.

It's disheartening when so many people seem to support them, though

Honest question, how do you determine they are bad faith, bots, or trolls? Strawmen is easy and what about is kinda obvious

Too long an answer for a tweet tbh. But over time it gets more easy to spot who wants to honestly discuss and who is just being an arse

Blocking is okay as long as you don't take too much pleasure in it. In that case, a community turns into an echo chamber and that rarely leads to anything good.
-
At the same time its fine to take some relief or have a mild 'hehe' from blocking someone who is antagonising you or your followers

Been doing that, here and on Facebook. Had a lot of family and friends that I respected turn around and disrespect everything I believe in. I don’t feel bad about removing them-my online presence will be better without their bad faith.

Hi gav, on Twitter mute them instead. Blocking sends a notification which can be seen by those people as a win. Muting let's them scream into the void
