I just made a metal track in Ableton. Hoooooo boy this is different, but refreshing! Also I dunno if anyone who uses different DAWS notices, but there's a crisper export from Ableton. Am I crazy thinking this? Is there a science? xD

I've never heard of there being any quality difference in the exports in DAWS. Probably you're just improving your skills with practice? Ableton's a mixed bag for me, has great soft synths but goddamn that UI is soooo ugly I just can't use it
Cubase ftw

I used to get told that export quality would increase due to some science behind it, was never explained properly, but grape vine hearing, haha It's so strange coming from FL Studio, I know at least the work flow's been a little clearer, but it appears in still an FL boy xD

Never tried FL! Have worked with Cubase, Pro Tools, Logic & Ableton. Hated Pro Tools, love Cubase, found the others pretty good :)
