I don't think I went back to see the revision. Fine that they changed it (it's their art), but disappointing the audience so rejected the original.

The revision got rid of a ton of plot holes but kept the general feel of the ending.

Yeh I think people who hated the lack of choice wern't pleased by the extended cut, no drastic change.But if like me youjust felt the end was vague and abrupt the additions were quite welcome.Nice to know that the destruction of the relays didnt doom the entire galaxy for example

The lack of choice & agency was the least of its problems IMO
