The Witcher 3 in general is the best game I've ever played
Whenever I think back to the Witcher Blood and Wine stands out in my memories, such a refreshing atmosphere and the characters absolutely popped.
I prefer Hearts of Stone for its story rather Blood and Wine because of tgat tonal contrast. The Witcher always had a good sense of humor and dark wit, but it lost some of that in Blood and Wine for me. The humor just wasn't as clever. Except Regis. Love Regis.
Also the story in Blood and Wine took too much from one of the early Witcher stories. The games are sequels to the books and try to do their own thing, but Blood and Wine just retreads to much ground.
I think the Witcher 3 as a whole is one of my favourite games. Heart of stone and Blood & Wine did a great job of showing that DLC could be just as engaging as the main quest, and can exceed our expectations
It's gonna be great Witching in bed. I'm still shocked they managed to pull this off. Granted it's 540p in handheld mode but that's still a feat imo.
Hearts of Stone/Blood & Wine is probably closer to a full-on sequel, like Uncharted: Lost Legacy. W3's DLC's are ridiculous in their scope.
Blood and Wine is so damn good! The evironments are wonderful, the characters are fantastic, and there's some really cool new gear/powers. I'd put it alongside The Citadel DLC form ME3 for best DLC.
I finally beat Witcher 3 and its DLCs earlier this year, but I'm definitely ready to do it again on the Switch. It's easily my favorite fantasy RPG. Right up there with God of War 2018 as one of the best games ever made.
And Hearts Of Stone has one of my favorite video game villains ever.
