These are grim days indeed. Today saw tribalism thrive once again to make different groups responsible for this loss of cultural, religious and historical heritage, which, I think, is almost if not as sad as the incident itself.

When was it ? Did you have fun ? I also have a selfie (or twelve) of drunk kid me around the premises: the banks are a favoured place for revelers, especially students like we were, to have some wine and finger food (or a kebab, there's a lot of kebabs in St Michel just behind).

I ain't religious, but as art and history lover, seeing such pieces of art going down in flames is painful to watch. Good thing though is some people managed to make 3D image of cathedral few years ago and people already gathered money, so it will be restored soon.
