i guess I don’t get why anybody would baulk at FROM having the option to make their games easier / more accessible. i play racing games with a steering wheel, pedals & most assists off while you all use controllers with ABS & traction control. we’re different. choice empowers.

fwiw i really enjoy how tough Sekiro is. but it’s not like all games are designed with a singular play experience in mind. i respect the developer’s design intent, but i also agree with those saying they wish they had some control over it.

I love Sekiro & their art is their own to make how they want but... just in my own experience, having 'gotten gud' (ew) and reached the end I can say with 100% certainty I would have enjoyed it far more on an easier setting, were one available

While you can play it at the intended difficulty there are many others who can't due to disabilities. If rappers can include deaf people, developers can add accessibility options, allow someone to alter the fall speed or parry window to let people play when they couldn't before.
