Having reached the end of Sekiro, a few thoughts: 1. I loved this game 2. I would love loved it a lot more if it had a lower difficulty. I'm not saying it 'should' have it, or that my experience is the 'right' one, just that for me, it was much too hard to be fun at times

frankly, the high difficulty saw to it, that I never completed the one dark souls game I bought, since it was just to frustrating. hence I never bought an other game of theirs with similar difficulty

Same here. I had to get a trainer and turn on god mode just to make some progress. I want to love DS but I can’t do the combat system.

If you can’t grasp the control scheme, then I would classify that as part of the difficulty. For example I can drive stick as that’s the way I was taught. Put someone that’s only driven auto in a manual car, and they are not going to have a good time.
