Having reached the end of Sekiro, a few thoughts: 1. I loved this game 2. I would love loved it a lot more if it had a lower difficulty. I'm not saying it 'should' have it, or that my experience is the 'right' one, just that for me, it was much too hard to be fun at times

And finally, in no way do I feel that From or any other dev are obliged to make any game easier for those with less skill. Their art is theirs. All I'm saying is that as a massive From fan for years, I enjoyed this game less than their other ones SOLELY because of the difficulty

It is so weird that people get so defensive over Sekiro including easier difficulty settings. The game already has TWO ways to increase the game difficulty globally using in-game items. There's absolutely no reason why it cannot go down the exact same way.

This is extremely true. In my case I found Dark Souls 3 far more frustrating than Sekiro, but Sekiro's rhythm just better suits the way I play games. The option to downscale difficulty in any game wouldn't hurt anyone as long as its handled right.

Funnily enough, there are bosses in it that only I seemed to have trouble with, as well as ones that no one could deal with, but I finished without much trouble. Something I’m glad to see persistently throughout all From’s games. The varying opinions on who’s the biggest cunt XD

You'd be better asking someone who is 1. Not self taught and 2. Good
