While I personally feel an easy setting in Sekiro would be great, I don't buy the idea that From is 'disrespectful' by not including it. Sometimes artists want to make something esoteric & challenging & if that's how they express themselves that's their prerogative (1 of 2)

For a game like Sekiro though, and Fromsoft games in general, I feel that, if you're not willing to put in the time to become adept at the mechanics, you shouldn't get a free pass because "It's too hard" You bought the game knowing it'd be difficult, so why complain about it now?

Not to say that I think anyone who wants a easy mode is somehow a "filthy casual" but honestly, I do feel like they should probably stay away from harder games if they specifically want to recieve the same reward for less effort than Miyazaki intended.

Just because the easy setting is there doesnt mean you have to play it. You can have the "intended" experience while someone else has the easier one. They arent mutually exclusive.
