the classic English arrogance. I know the elitists usually prefer their own look on history, but maybe they really should look at the real version this time to realise how incredibly stupid they sound. Heck it's less then 30 years since violence between some Irish and UK stopped.

I don’t understand why people would think Ireland would ever want to be part of GB. I’d be more interested to see Ireland reclaim Northern Ireland. (Said as someone who has no idea how that’d work or if it could.)

As far as I remember, NI voted to remain in the UK, so something really bad would have to happen to make them want to rejoin (probably no deal brexit)
