This week I saw an AAA game selling a character skin for 20 dollars and another AAA game selling a clothes set for over 30 dollars.

One could just as easily argue that putting skins behind paywalls and in lootboxes DOES negatively impact enjoyment of the game, for many. I hate microtransactions on principle. They're manipulative and show a total disregard for the consumer.

Yeah, they know damn well that aesthetics & character customisation is a huge part of the game & its enjoyment for many (probably most) people, especially in online games. To suggest otherwise is disingenuous
