People in the public eye are just as flawed, broken, lost, bad, good & grey as anyone else.
Someone successful speaking out about their mental health journey shouldn't be a cause for scorn -
It's great to encourage sharing, honestly & communication because it helps us all

Took me two years to finally admit I needed help, I’m now on two different waiting lists for 2 different therapies. Realising you need help and asking for it is one of the strongest things you can do. It’s a battle but everyone’s worth it

The internet proves its worth in this regard. Reading submitted stories on http://mind.org helped give me the courage to, for lack of a better term, “come out” to my friends and family about being suicidal There’s a beautiful anonymity to accessing things you need to hear
