Also:
The new enemies are cool.
The perk cards are a nice touch.
Can't comment on multiplayer yet. Have totally ignored other players & they have totally ignored me, which is A-Ok with me

How did the game run performance wise?
-
Fine for me regarding framerate but I'm on a 1080Ti. Lots of bugs tho

The whole no NPC thing is what's keeping me on the fence about this game
-
Honestly, the game HAS NPCs, it's just that they all had their stories long before you left the Vault, and you're piecing together what happened to them and why they're no longer there.

The only thing I'm currently worried about but can't find any specific feedback: how Fallout 76 immersion wise? Does it let you drown inside and feel like you are really present in this world? Are there any immersion breakers?
-
It's not as immersive as other Fallouts IMO but yes the ability to get lost in an interesting open world is still there

damn, figured those would be the negatives and positives. I've been a fan of Fallout since I played the original in high school. The world is great, but without the many charming characters and give it life, I don't feel the pull to play the game.
-
One can argue that fellow players are meant to be the characters that populate the world and give it its charm, but we all know that isn't going to be the case.

I've gotten pretty ok with the NPC thing since the stories left behind have been so good. It is largely the stories of everyone's failures but thats kinda how the setting goes. Also Mr. Fluffy is the best protectron since FISTO.
