Also your comments about pretty views being reason enough to play something is something I relate to so hard. So much of my music is literally me trying to express how I felt just being in a game's atmosphere & environments

Totally. My strongest memories of games are always the worlds, not what I did in them. I can barely remember the details of any quests in Skyrim, but I'll never forget seeing the aurora over Whiterun for the first time.

Yes!! So much. Skyrim & Fallout are gold mines for moments. My favorite gaming memory ever is the journey from Megaton to Rivet City. Finding places, looking at vistas & soaking up the atmosphere.
