Had a friend who wasted his talent by just being lazy after a point. He could just pick up an instrument and play it, just listen to a song once and after a minute or two be able to play that song on drums or guitar easily but then he just done fuck all with himself. Shame really

I think the actual 'talent' of 'gift' is an affinity to a certain medium. For example I would never be able to make music, because I don't understand how it works. But I understand words. Others are able to understand colors, and so on :)
