Streamers. Ya can’t play copyrighted music. You never really could. You have ALWAYS been at risk of DMCA takedowns, why did anyone think live-streaming was different to making YouTube videos in that respect? Looks like a DMCA finally happened for copyrighted music.

You have to have explicit permission from the copyright holder to use copyrighted music, or use royalty free music. There are tons of ways to have copyright-free/allowed music on your streams. I use

If you love a video game soundtrack, check for permission to play. Ya girl @craysounds_ makes damn good music and she just publicly made it clear you can use her music on stream as much as you want. Check for permission, cover all your bases. Protect yourselves
