Working with on vocals is always great as she has so much emotional & stylistic range, from fiery Valkyrie to soft & vulnerable.
She also innately understands and emotes my lyrics perfectly with very little guidance needed 🙂

For technical stuff, audio, mixing etc I'm always open to collaboratives ideas with the people I work with.
But with songwriting... I am stubborn to a fault. Will not budge or compromise at all and have 100% conviction in my own creative instincts.

Collabs for me have to happen naturally. For example I write an already great chorus and think 'Oh - This would be perfect for Karliene's voice'.
The Valhalla Calling collabs were an exception, they were the result of our fanbases making hundreds of requests 🙂

1. Both making good stuff alone doesn't mean you'll make something worthwhile together. Don't want to force out potentially sub-par music just to work with someone else
