@MiodVallat what's the reason? Lack of resources? Hw?

@lookitsmk Theo was having a lot of hw problems. I'm not sure 110V is good for them in the long term, all the VAXens here are happy campers. -
@lookitsmk but the #1 reason was the lack of shared libraries, of course. With #2 being the use of gcc 3. But that's just an outside guess. -
@MiodVallat right. Always sad to see an arch go.

@MiodVallat@textfiles The Anti-Vaxers are winning! -
@halfbyte@textfiles Don't we all know that nothing sucks like a VAX?

@MiodVallat do not commit suicide ... your experience is valuable, you could make something great like porting it to RPI1/2/3 and Odroid-C2. -
@mn3m0n1q I'd rather not work on crap architectures such as ARM, thank you very much.

@MiodVallat All the world's no longer a VAX. :-( -
@ethan_dicks It's probably time to update the jokes in byteorder(3) again.

@MiodVallat Is that affecting the upcoming release? or is it post 5.9? -

@MiodVallat Shame. I offered to donate a free VAXstation 4000 to OpenBSD but TdR turned it down -- not the fast model he wanted. -
@lproven and how did you get a VAXstation in the first place? ;) ebay? honestly curious... :) or perhaps a bit envious :)@MiodVallat -

@MiodVallat@lproven I still crave a pizza-box Amiga 3000 :) Not sure what for, but it surely looks nice on a desk. ;)
