The only way this episode could've been any better is if @HiRyanHansen was still dating @bryangreenberg. #TheMindyProject

I don't even have the words to describe how much I loved this episode. Amazing!
-
please try.
-
1- I love it b/c it took on some of the salient points of white male privilege, racism, sexism, and ally-ship in the work place.
-
2- It showcases the status quo perpetuated by the false sense of meritocracy.
-
3- It demonstrates in a humorous, pop culture way that no amount of conformity & "social capital" can fully overcome an inequitable system.
-
4- It's not that people need to change to fit the system, but rather the system itself that needs significant adjustment.
-
5- All of which I am aware, though it was heartening to see as much in a popular TV sitcom.
